Over 19 million players joined Battlefield 1

The financial report from Electronic Arts has some interesting data about the popularity of the latest Battlefield entry.

As VG247 reports, Battlefield 1 is a much more successful title when compared to the previous entry in the IP, Battlefield 4 (months after the numbers in those titles seem hilarious). As stated in the financial reports from Electronic Arts, the game got 50% increase in the player base when both titles are compared in a similar period.

The most interesting fact is the total number of players, which exceeded 19 million users at the end of March of 2017. Moreover, there are more that 21 million gamers who decided to buy FIFA 17, with 12 million of them interested in The Journey (story mode for the game).
