Blizzard’s hit team-based shooter enjoys a lot of good news lately. Between the reveal of a new character, the finals of the Overwatch World Cup, and the announcement of Overwatch League sponsored by Blizzard it is a good time to be an OW fan.
For those undecided whether they want to become one Blizzard prepares a free weekend mid-November, during which Overwatch will be available for all to come and see for themselves what all the fuss is about.
Between 18 and 21 November 2016 free players will have access to the full roster of characters, and 13 maps across several modes, such as Quick Play, Weekly Brawl or Custom Games. Any loot and levels unlocked during the free weekend will be saved to your Battle.net account, so you won’t have to start from scratch when you decide to buy Overwatch. Xbox and PlayStation 4 will retain their progress on buying Overwatch: Origins Edition, while PC players can buy any edition they want.
