The upcoming release was confirmed by Nintendo.
We all expected Super Mario Run for Android to release sometime soon, but now we have a confirmation directly from Nintendo that the game will launch on March 23rd.

As you might remember, owners of Android devices were able to pre-register for the upcoming release. Google Play allows you to “subscribe” to the unreleased game and it should automatically download when it becomes available.
No specific timing was given, but we expect more or less similar timing with various regions. If Pokémon Go is any form of indication, Super Mario Run should be popular among Android players.
