Combining two genres of games, mtroidvania and rogue-like, Dead Cells creates a unique blend of the two. With proceduraly generated environments, enemies, loot drops and even stats, Dead Cells is different every time you play it, but keeps the essential components of ruthless difficulty, complex but comprehensive levels and fast pace. While the story of Dead Cells is minimalistic, a lot of information is conveyed by great art-style and aesthetics of the game.
