The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Skyrim, also belonging to The Elder Scrolls series, is the fifth instalment of the game, set 200 years after the events of Oblivion. The game has seen three expansions and several re-editions introducing various enhancements, mods, and enabling gameplay on newer generation consoles.

Skyrim, standing on the brink of civil war, faces a new problem – dragons, thought to be extinct ages ago, have returned under the leadership of Alduin. However, it turns out that our character has dragon blood flowing in their veins – they are the Dragonborn, anointed by the gods, capable of fighting these ancient creatures.

Skyrim undeniably shares the same universe with Oblivion, featuring many motifs from the fourth part. Another similarity lies in the open world and non-linear storyline, allowing for free exploration. If you are an Oblivion fan and have not played Skyrim yet, you definitely should!

Dragon Age: Inquisition

Similarities to Oblivion? Well, despite a different producer, New Vegas closely resembles Bethesda’s Fallout 3, which, in turn, can be easily compared to the TES series. Additionally, an open world, character building according to personal preferences… All of this makes Fallout: New Vegas a perfect game for fans of Bethesda RPGs.
