Metro Exodus is a post-apocalyptic first-person shooter developed by 4A Games and released in 2019.

It is the third installment in the Metro series (the previous two being Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light), all of which are inspired by the works of Russian author and journalist Dmitry Glukhovsky.

The game is set in 2036, just a few months after the events of Metro: Last Light. Our protagonist, just as in the previous installments, is Artyom, who lives with other survivors in the tunnels of the Moscow Metro. He leads a group of Spartan Rangers on a train journey to find an ideal place to settle.

Fallout series

Release date:2017-09-26
Genre:RPG
Developer:Bethesda Game Studios

Fallout is a series of post-apocalyptic role-playing games. Considered the flagship product of Interplay Entertainment, although since 2004, Bethesda Softworks and Bethesda Game Studios have taken over the production.

All Fallout games are set in a post-apocalyptic world in an alternate reality, between the 22nd and 23rd centuries. In a nuclear conflict that took place in 2077, the world was nearly destroyed. Many years later, those who survived (both on the surface and in special Vault-tec shelters called Vaults) form small groups trying to survive. In each part, players control the fate of one of the survivors.

Although Fallout might seem closer to RPGs, it is worth noting that particularly the third and fourth (as well as outstanding spin-off, New Vegas) installments have a lot of shooter elements. Besides, if someone liked the post-apocalyptic atmosphere of Metro Exodus, the Fallout series will surely meet their expectations.

Key features
  • Real-time combat
  • Extensive equipment and crafting system
  • … hey, it’s Fallout!
