Games like Anno 1800

Anno 1800 is a strategic economic game. It is the seventh instalment in the Anno series, the first part of which premiered in 1998.

The game was released on April 16th, 2019, for PC. Unfortunately, console users had to arm themselves with patience, but it was rewarded, and on March 16th, 2023, the game was released for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles.

This time, the game takes us to the 19th century, to the times of the Industrial Revolution. We take on the roles of rulers, and our task is to develop the city with all its infrastructure. This is a huge challenge because it’s not enough to erect buildings in the city, but we also need to manage the game in such a way that the city survives and prospers.

Although each game in the Anno series offers the same experience, each one is enriched with new mechanics. Anno 1800 is an RTS (real-time strategy) and an economic simulation. There is also plenty of room for trade, exploration, and sometimes even combat.
