If you’re wondering what the best Fallout 4 armor is, it’s the X-01! Once you get it, you can count on a fantastic resistance to physical damage of 1000 and energy damage of 800. The X-01 also reduces radiation damage, so you can trustfully use it to explore the most dangerous locations. Since it’s also highly customizable, players can tailor its functions to their needs. Wearing it, you can fall from any height and not suffer any effects of such an action, so it’s perfect for characters using a jetpack.
Where can you find it? First, know you must have pieces for both legs to make it work. While the Freefall Armor doesn’t require a specific level, obtaining it is tricky. Head to the top of the Mass Fusion building using either a jetpack or the levitation bug. That’s where you will find a locked box containing this extremely handy attire.

Torso Piece provides 37 damage and 40 energy resistance. It also temporarily slows time during combat when the player is at 20% health or less. Left Leg Piece offers 23 damage resistance and grants increasing energy and damage resistance the lower the player’s health (UP to 35).
How can you get it? First, equip yourself with enough Speech Skills and at least ten settlers in your settlement. Once done, find a character named Scribe and convince him to join your group.
