Assassin’s Creed: Shadows is the latest instalment of the legendary AC series and the newest production from Ubisoft, the studio behind the franchise since its very beginning.
Both long-time fans of the series and enthusiasts of historical games are eagerly waiting for its release, which is scheduled for March 20, 2025.
About the Game…
Assassin’s Creed: Shadows is the fourteenth main entry in the Assassin’s Creed series and another chapter that brings RPG elements and a vast open world to the franchise.
This time, we’ll travel to 16th-century Feudal Japan and, for the first time ever, play as two protagonists — Naoe, a female shinobi, and Yasuke, a historically accurate character — the Black samurai who served Nobunaga Oda.
The developers promise even better visuals, refined stealth and parkour mechanics, a wide range of engaging missions, and a large open world with dynamic weather and seasonal changes.

Any Pre-order Bonus?
Of course! All players who pre-order the game will receive a bonus of over 10 hours of additional gameplay, provided via future DLC. This means that if you buy the game before release, you will get that DLC for free when it comes out — no need to pay extra!
Additionally, players who choose the Gold, Ultimate, or Collector’s Editions will enjoy up to 3 days of early access — allowing them to play before the official launch date.
Which One To Buy?
As you can see, Ubisoft has prepared multiple editions of AC: Shadows, catering to both players who just want to experience the story and those who love extra content and collectibles.
Which one should you pick? If you simply want to dive into Feudal Japan without overpaying, the Standard Edition will suit you perfectly.
If you enjoy bonuses and extra content, and don’t mind spending a bit more, you can consider the Deluxe or higher editions.
