Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury is an expanded port of the original Super Mario 3D World. This amazing action platformer was developed by Nintendo EPD Tokyo, Nintendo Software Technology Corporation and 1-UP Studio, and published by Nintendo for Nintendo Switch in 2021.

Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury was released as a part of the 35th anniversary of Super Mario Bros., and is an expanded and upgraded port of Super Mario 3D World originally published on Wii U back in 2013.

The base game is a linear platformer action game and the first 3D title in the franchise to feature a cooperative gameplay for up to four players. Choose your favourite character (with Mario, Luigi, Peach and Toad available from the start, and Rosalina as an unlockable) and use their abilities to help your team reach the Goal Pole as quickly and safely as possible! Collect power-ups, stamps, stars and other items, jump, dash, swim, crouch, roll and defeat your opponents to get the highest score. Explore multiple Worlds and beat all of the stages for the ultimate Super Mario 3D experience!

Super Mario 3D World features Captain Toad’s Adventures levels that allow the players to become fast and agile, but limited in his movement options Captain Toad (and his trusty Toad Brigade). Join the adventure and help Captain Toad beat all of the amazing puzzle-based levels!

Bowser’s Fury, a new campaign for the game, is included in the Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury bundle as a standalone adventure. In this entry to the series, Mario unexpectedly encounters a more powerful form of Bowser, known as Fury Bowser, who has accidentally become corrupted due to Bowser Jr.’s actions. Mario’s goal is to collect all of the magical Cat Shines scattered in the Lake Lapcat area and bring Bowser back to normal. Help him out - and don’t forget to wear your fabulous Cat Suit during the process!

Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury can be played in both single-player and multiplayer modes - it’s a perfect game for an entertaining evening with friends or family! Multiplayer mode supports local wireless and Nintendo Switch Online connections, with two-player multiplayer available for local wireless mode and online modes available for up to four players. Just remember that the players share lives!

When participating in multiplayer, the players have to deal with a unique system: the game is both cooperative and competitive, with cooperation being the key to success and competition revolving around separate scores for every player. The best one gets a crown, but others can easily steal it, so get ready - can you rank higher than your friends?
