Meet Kaede Akamatsu

Kaede Akamatsu is a young and charming piano player. One day she and 15 other students wake up with their memories erased at the so-called Gifted Inmates Academy. Welcomed by a bizarre teddy bear who calls himself the headmaster, she learns that it is a trap and the only way to get out of here is to kill another student and not get caught during the crime.

If nobody is killed within two days, mad Monokuma will end his crazy game earlier by simply killing all of the students. This is where the real intrigue begins, demanding from the player the highest degree of wit and logical skill.

The intrigue thickens

Proven game scheme

Danganronpa V3 draws upon the best features of its predecessors. As a sequel game to Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc and Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair, it uses similar mechanics. Use of the “School life” periods to learn as much as you can about other characters and their stories, moving the storyline further along.

Test your wit during the Class Trials during which you will get different testimonies, look for evidence, and take part in multiple logic minigames. Thanks to the “Truth Bullet” you can easily judge whether someone is telling the truth.

“Lie Bullets” on the other hand help you meddle in the case and mislead your companions, whenever something isn’t going according to your plan.
